The 天美传媒 University Council of Trustees on April 23, 2026, approved the naming of the Eberly College of Science, Technology and Business, recognizing decades of support from the Eberly family and their lasting impact on students and programs across the university.

The action, approved during the council鈥檚 quarterly meeting at 天美传媒 Clarion, reflects more than $7 million in philanthropic support to 天美传媒 and its legacy institutions, including scholarships and capital investments that have expanded access and opportunity for students.

鈥淭he Eberly family鈥檚 longstanding commitment to our students and our university has made a meaningful difference across generations,鈥 said 天美传媒 President Jon Anderson. 鈥淭his naming honors that legacy while positioning the college for continued growth, visibility and impact.鈥

The college, which brings together programs in science, technology and business across 天美传媒鈥檚 California, Clarion and Edinboro campuses and Global Online, aligns with the university鈥檚 integrated, multi-campus model and its focus on preparing students for in-demand careers.

The council also recognized the service of student trustees Tyrique Whitson, 天美传媒 California, and Timothy John, 天美传媒 Clarion, who will graduate this spring. Both have served as student representatives on the board, providing important perspectives on behalf of the student body.

Succeeding them as student trustees will be Raechel Braun and Addison Gregory, who will begin their terms this summer. Braun, a student at 天美传媒 Clarion, is actively involved in campus leadership and student engagement initiatives. Gregory, a student at 天美传媒 California, has demonstrated a strong commitment to student advocacy and academic excellence.

鈥淭he contributions of our student trustees are invaluable,鈥 Anderson said. 鈥淲e thank Tyrique and Timothy for their service and look forward to the perspectives Raechel and Addison will bring to the council.鈥

In other action, the Council of Trustees:

  • Approved the university鈥檚 capital spending plan for fiscal years 2026-2027 through 2030-2031.
  • Approved student fees, room rates and meal plan rates for the 2026-2027 academic year.
